Once the assessment is complete, the timing is perfect for a fundraising plan with embedded metrics to indicate your progress. This plan describes goals and strategies along with specific actions to be taken by staff, board and other key volunteers on a timeline, leading to results that build on and leverage the successes you have already achieved.

Your fundraising plan must be realistic, and needs to approach change with sensitivity and awareness of the consequences. Some organizations can turn on a dime to make needed changes, and others need a more phased approach. Providing support for change is a key part of this service, along with the development of specific programs, activities and tasks that will guide the current board and staff over a multi-year period.
