Campaign Readiness, Feasibility, and Counsel Services

If you hope to raise $1 million or more in a capital campaign or a campaign for special projects or endowment, you should probably hire outside counsel. There are a number of excellent firms nationally and a few in the Northwest, but it’s tough to find affordable counsel if your campaign is in the $1 – $5M range.

Our Campaign services have Dianna Smiley’s experience and strategic skills at their core, but also draw on her trusted colleagues from other firms as sub-contractors to comprise a full campaign preparation and implementation support team. In this model, organizations pay only for the campaign services they actually need, without the overhead of a large full-service firm.

We can provide the following Campaign services, among others:

  • Help organizational leadership complete their initial vision and plans

  • Conduct a Campaign readiness study

  • Conduct a Campaign feasibility study

  • Help the Board understand their most valuable role(s) in the Campaign

  • Recommend effective volunteer leadership structure(s) for the Campaign, such as a Campaign Committee and subcommittees

  • Draft timeline and detailed plans for fund raising

  • Recommend internal staffing and support

  • Draft Campaign case statement

  • Provide marketing and communications strategies for the Campaign

  • Provide or oversee production of print, video and on-line content
